SUMMER CONCERT
ARRANGEMENTS FOR REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCE
TUESDAY 16 JULY
EVENING REHEARSAL:
NICHOLAS’ CHURCH NORTH WALSHAM NR28 9BT
PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO ATTEND THIS REHEARSAL
Parking in Vicarage Street car park (NNDC) NR28 9DQ. Free after 6pm
We will set up chairs from 6.15 pm. Help from a couple of people would be appreciated please. There will be no staging for this rehearsal.
Choir to arrive by 6.45 latest, ready to start singing 7.00 sharp.
Rehearsal to finish by 9.30pm, and we will need to put away chairs.
We will have access to kitchen for drinks, and to the adjacent hall for loos.
Please check you have all your music; there won’t be time to fetch spare copies!
SATURDAY 20 JULY
AFTERNOON REHEARSAL:

If you have a 3hr pre- paid NNDC permit, and need to park for longer than 3hrs, you can pay for a ticket for the excess parking time, and display it alongside your permit.
REHEARSAL: Staging will already be in place; after careful consideration, Stephen feels this will be necessary, so that everyone can watch the conductor, and to enable the sound to be projected to best effect. This will comprise 2 tiers only, probably to seat the men primarily. We are, however, mindful that seating at a higher level is not possible for all choir members, and this will be the subject for pre-planning. If you have concerns about this, please contact me (in confidence).
Set up will be from 1pm. As above, a couple more volunteers would be appreciated.
Please arrive to be seated by 2.05pm, ready to start rehearsal 2.15 sharp.
CONCERT:
Please be in your seats by 7.15, ready to start at 7.30
Again, bring all music in your black choir folder.
Refreshments will be provided during the interval, provided by the Church team, for Church funds.
The concert will finish at about 9.30pm, and as always, please would you help with chairs and basic tidiness at the end.
DRESS CODE:
Ladies: black with yellow accessories (scarf, jewellery)
Gentlemen: black with yellow tie.
Please come ready changed as there are no changing facilities for the choir (unless you want to change in the loo!)
Bags & personal belongings may be placed in the choir stalls (behind the choir) during the concert.
